April Fool!
You guys. You are so gullible.
But it was funny, yes?
Now go ahead and comment and tell me you knew it was a joke all along. But do be good enough to do it on THIS page and not on the original post, so you don't spoil it for others, yes?
Thank you.

You got me. Oh dear, you got me baaad. Hook, line, and sinker. It wasn't until I got to the end and went to the links that I realized what day it is. Although I did wonder a little about Emma Thompson's/Jane Austen's dress, I was too trusting to think it was a joke.
And thank you for nearly giving me a heart attack at the idea of Justin Bieber as Marius. *shudder*
Ha! I didn't realize it was a joke until you threw in the jibe at Russel Crowe....
I KNEW something was up when I got to the Anne of Green Gables part...But I totally swallowed the rest. By the way, this is my first time commenting. I've been reading your blog for a while and really enjoying it. :)

*Cough* I knew what it was gonna be before I even read any of them. :P
Oops. I didn't click on this page until I posted my comment, so you don't have to publish that other one so I won't spoil anything. :P
Haha. I caught you at the Richard Armitage one. He was excited to play the role because North & South is such a popular book in England. He knew the story. Why would he be interested in something about our Civil War?
Well, if I hadn't read Alexandra's comment on the original post I would've completely forgotten it was April Fool's Day!!! Naughty Miss Dashwood! ;) I was honestly thinking, "That does NOT sound like Josh Groban in 'Stars', I was watching that just last night and it was NOT Josh Groban!!!"
Although...it just goes to show you how Nick Jonas scarred me. I truly believed the one about Justin Bieber and was left almost gasping with relief that Eddie Redmayne got the part.
But wait, how'd you get this post not to show up in archives, etc.? o.O
You so got me. I can't belive how very gullible I truly am. I got a good laugh over it all especially the Edmund Sparkler and Fanny Dorrit marriage.Ha Ha
Heehee, this was hilarious! I started reading the post and was nodding along with everything you said about being crazy about movie trivia and etc; and then I started down the list of trivia facts and when I hit the second one- about Emma Thompson and P&P 95- I knew what you'd done. :) I laughed my way down the rest of the page.
But, m'dear, the Justin Bieber Les Mis 'fact' was almost too horrible to laugh at. :) It brought to mind too strongly the dreadful job Nick Jonas did in the 25th. :)
Happy April Fool's Day!
You got me good. Well. Whatever. Dear me, I am sooo gullible. Though I did think the Anthony Andrews one was strange. :) *face palm*
Oops, I left a comment before following the link to here.
You had me until you through in Josh Groban for Russell Crowe! Very funny joke! :)
This was hilarious! I completely believed you until I read the comments. I kept telling my sister different bits from the post that I thought were especially funny and then I got to the end and saw that it was all a joke. I would have loved to see that scene in Little Dorrit, though :)
I read your post with a puzzled expression on my face the entire time. There was part of me, I admit, that wanted to believe some of your "facts" but I understood your meaning by the time I got to Emma Thompson wearing JA's dress. But yes, you got me, too. Although, I wish some of these were real, namely the LD toast one. :D
I was pretty puzzled reading that post...some of them sounded possible, but they weren't quite...quite...? I'm afraid I even did you the injustice of suspecting you'd been reading from some fishy sources! :) Then I saw the Josh Groban one and knew what had happened right away.
I believed every word until I got to the part were Josh Groban dubbed Javert they I was like- wait a second here... :D
Ooops....I commented on the other post before I clicked here anyway it was really funny anyway. :D
The Anne one at the end didn't sound very plausible though.
Oooo... You almost got me! It was the Jane Seymour, Richard Armitage, and Josh Groban ones that made me go, "Wait a second!" ... but yes, brilliantly done! :)
Oh oh oh. I swallowed it all.
That was grand. I kind of wondered at the Anne Shirley one...Very creative. :)
Ohhh, you reeled me in with every one! With a father who loves to joke, you wouldn't think that I would be that gullible! : P
Thank goodness Justin Bieber did not try out for Marius... such a thought is not to be born! = )
I've been laughing like a maniac reading these responses... ha, I rather thought the Russell Crowe/Josh Groban one would give some of you pause. :D
Melody, this is actually a page, not a post, so I just published it and then hid it so it wouldn't show up in the top bar. :D
Why, you...you...you practical joker! That was so hilarious!!!! You SO had me fooled! Justin Bieber indeed! In Les Mis, no less! Emma Thompson didn't want to be involved in two period dramas in one year? Honestly! (I almost think you owe an apology to your readers, Miss Dashwood ;)
In all fairness, it was a hilarious joke :)
I knew something fishy was going on, but was only sure when I got to the Emma/Harriet makeover. Good one though :)
I first read this about two months ago. Heehee, you totally got me the first time!!! Really, you did. I am the kind of person who loves movie trivia to itty bitty bits (except when I found out it wasn't really snowing in Emma 2009 in the scene where Mr. Knightley get hit by a snowball. They just used this spray-paint stuff. Ugh. Now I hate trivia.), and I find myself being a kind of know-it-all- and I almost told my family the Anne of Green Gables burnt hair thing and the Emma Thompson P&P thing and so on. But being the trivia fan I am, I checked the source and... yeah, you got me good. I am giggling and giggling!! :-)
