I'd Like to Share: May and June 2014

Okay, as some of you have noticed, I dropped the ball on I'd Like to Share earlier this month... oops.  So we're having a double-whammy-feature around here THIS month with TWO doses of Linkage Things.  Hold applause until the end, please.

A wee note: please remember to use your own discretion when reading the posts linked.  I do not necessarily agree with or endorse all the content of the blogs listed below-- if someone nominates a post that I find seriously objectionable, I won't link to it, but please don't assume that just because I did link to something, I agree with everything the author's saying.  Okay?  Okay.  Here we go.

In the Inspirational category...

Reyna Nicole nominated Cameron Turner for "Criticisms of Daughterhood Series 6: Naivete"
Maribeth nominated Ann Voskamp for "When You're Struggling and Holy Week is Just Hard"
Hamlette nominated Lizzie for "Good Friday"
Natalie nominated Rachel Coker for "Taking Steps"
The Elf nominated Marbles121 for "5 Things Christians Should Stop Saying"
Ashley nominated Gregg Howlett for Why I Stopped Wearing a Watch"

In the Informative category...

Livia Rachelle nominated Katrina for "Life is Too Short to Wear Frumpy Clothes"
Maddie Rose and Miss Dashwood nominated Melody for "Why I Don't Like the Darcy Fandom: A Rant"
Evie Scott nominated Naomi for "We Are Amused... Said Queen Victoria"

In the Humorous category...

Miss Jane Bennet nominated Melody for "How to Waltz"

In the Just Plain Interesting category...

Naomi Bennet nominated Emma Jane for "Gone With the Wind Review"

Thanks to everyone who participated this month!  Our quote-to-guess can be found below-- leave your answer in the comments, and don't forget to head on over here to put up your nomination for the July edition of I'd Like to Share.

Thank you Evie!
Just saying Miss Dashwood, that "Criticisms of Daughterhood Series 6: Naivete" links too "Life is too short to wear frumpy clothes."

Of course, last year I was freaking out (in a good way) about that. Heehee.
*sniffs nostalgically*

Oooh, I got two different posts nominated in one post! Swellissimus! That never happens. I should post stuff more often. :P

Iiiiiii know who said the quoooooote... it's not like we ever use it or anything. :P
We need to watch that soon, btw. :D

Oh lovely, lovely. I must confess that I only read Melody's 'How to Waltz' but I laughed myself silly over it (but quietly, as I'm not supposed to be reading this, but playing the piano).

Oh, is the quote said by Harriet Dashwood in sense and sensibility 1995?

Livia Rachelle said...

Yay! Double the fun!

The quote is by Amelia Warne to Beatrix Potter in Miss Potter.
