"I have returned. To haunt you."

Hello, PEEPS! It is ME! I am not DEAD! Did you MISS ME?

I have only lost about twenty followers in the time I've been gone. Impressive. Thanks to all who stayed. One of my New Year's resolutions is to blog more... nothing drastic like once a week or anything renunculous (YOU'RE RENUNCULOUS) but hopefully more than I've been doing of late.

*hyenas laughing in the distance*

Aaaaaaanyways.  Today I am here to inform you that my person is having a contest and you should enter it.  That is, my Favorite and Best Melody is hosting a short-short story contest for Christmastide, and I thought it appropriate to aid in her ad campaign. (She may or may not be sitting beside me right now making me write this. Heh, heh, heh.)

"I am not MAKING you! I ASKED you," quoth she. "TELL THEM that I am not MAKING YOU."
*type type type*
There, are you satisfied?

Regency Delight Story Contest

Anyways again! So click the button above  to find out more details, and I'll see you all with a more update-ish update very soon.

(Ohhhh but by the way Melody is here right now and we went to a CHRISTMAS CIVIL WAR BALL last night and had a grand time and she danced every dance and Mary none. :D)

And here we are in our dresses.   ("Here he is all dressed up in his Sunday best."  "HE LOOKS LIKE A GIRL!"  "Ha ha ha.  AN UGLY GIRL.")

The End.

*bonus points to you if you can identify all the dumb quotes in this post
*The End Again.

Oh my goodness. YOU'RE ALIVE. :-D

I'm thrilled to hear from you again, and yes of course I've missed you. Your blog is one of the bestest.
THE CIVIL WAR BALL. Gah, that sounds like sooo much fun. Your dresses are gorgeous.

(I got the P&P95 quote, of course.)

New post!! *pretends to do happy dance which she can't really do while lying sick in bed*

Anyway.

I love your Civil War dresses! So pretty . . . I've never done any Civil War dress-up, although I did dress as a Polish immigrant woman for a historical costume contest at college this fall. And I won first prize. So that was fun.

I entered the story contest! I'm *ahem* excited to see who wins ;-)

Oh yay, you're back! Goodie. I love your blog (you're funny, and you like old books and movies, what's NOT to love?) and I really enjoyed your "Masked" web series. I'm a really new follower, I found your blog in July, I think. But I've read through nearly all your archives and I love you.

That made me sound like a stalker. Oops.

I didn't know you did historical costuming! I just delved into the hobby myself and I made my first full costume - a civil war outfit. I bet the ball was super fun!
I just found your blog during that posting break you just took and I've enjoyed going through your archives. I especially like the Anne of Green Gables Week you did a while ago (do another one sometime Pleeaaase). I await what you've to say in the future concerning the period drama universe. Lol :)

P.S. The last quote is from Despicable Me.

Hello Amy!
I think this is the first time I've commented....I'm pretty sure. It's hard to remember because I've been reading your blog for about 3 years, and I feel like I've known you for ages, but I haven't actually commented before. *sheepish grin* Obviously, I greatly enjoy your blog, otherwise I wouldn't be reading it for 3 years. ;)
Oh, and look it's Moriarty! He's so creepy and cool and I-can't-decide-what-I-think-of-him.
AHHH! A CHRISTMAS CIVIL WAR BALL!! Wow, I'm really jealous. :-P Your dresses look amazing (I can't believe you made that dress. You're very clever.) and your hair too! I went to a masquerade ball a few months ago (the dress code was pre 1900s) and that was amazing!! Just like all the balls you see off Emma and Pride and Prejudice etc. I doubt I'll ever forget that. :-)
A Merry Christmas to you!

I've never commented here before, but I just wanted to say, "please do post more in the coming year!" I discovered your blog a couple years ago (used to check it every day, sometimes multiple times a day) and I've really missed your posts. I know life is busy, but I do hope you can find time to write because I very much enjoy your writing style and your sense of humor. :)

Let's see...you quoted the Bisque guy(I seriously don't know his name...) Gru's mother, a partial quote from P&P(cleverly done, I admit), Moriarty of course, and...is that it? I'm sure I'm missing one at least.
Your ball dresses are lovely. :)
And I'll check out that story contest, I promise.
