It's the Big Three-Oh-Oh!

I don't normally post updates on how many followers this blog has, but I happened to log on just now and see that we've finally hit 300 lovely people on that Google Friend Connect box after teetering for so long around 297.  Soooo I just want to say that you are all awesome and I love you muchly and I seriously wouldn't be writing this blog if it weren't for you and your fabulous comments and support and all that.  And I promise I will not be so scarce around here in the weeks to come.  I hope.

And, uh, what was up with Google Friend Connect going away?  Because it's still there as far as I can see... and I signed up for Bloglovin' to no avail, apparently.  Shnibbles.  Silly Google.

It's late and I'm supposed to be in bed but I'm laughing way too hard over this (probably because I should be in bed) and had to share it before I turn in.

There ya go.  Have yourselves a good giggle and then you should get to bed too, unless you live in Australia in which case go do something productive.

Congratulations on reaching 300 followers! That's a lot!

And the buzz about Google Connect going away was the fact that Google Reader, which was heavily tied with Google Connect, was being shut down, and people weren't sure if Connect was going with it. It didn't.

You might not want to tell me to go to bed, when what I'm trying to do is finish an email for you to read.
:P

Hahaha, the Australia thing amused me though. ;) And congratulaaaations on 300 followers! You famous girl, you. Sigh. No matter what happens, you'll always have more followers than me.

Oh well. I'll just sit here with satisfaction, knowing that I proberly helped you to achieve this large number in some way or other. Such as patronizing your blog in the first place, hahaha. "Oh, the poor thing does not have any followers. Well, I shall be her first."

Actually those weren't my sentiments. They were "Wellll, I don't usually follow blogs with only one post buuuut she seems like SUCH a kindred spirit already that I feel like it's going to be a great blog and she followed miiine AND she comments and... eh, why not."

So... yeah. Shutting up. Why do my comments always turn out to be so very long?

Congratulations on 300 followers! I don't live in Australia, but I'll go do something productive if you want me too! I loved the cat picture!

Congratulations, Amy!! Just the other day I was reviewing my dashboard, and I was so proud to notice that I am 2 followers short of 60. And then you posted this... well, there's a helping of humility. ;)

Seriously, I absobloominglutely love your blog, and you deserve every single one of those 300 followers!

Congrats, darling! SO awesome and keep up all the awesomeness!!! So thankful that I ran across this wee corner of the blogsphere...your friendship means so much, and who else would help me with William and George issues? Thanks for listening to complete randomness. :D

I usually don't regularly comment, but I thought this might be a nice time to express just how much I love your blog!
I stumbled across your blog while on the search for Anne of Green Gables material, and lo and behold I found a kindred spirit. I actively started following your blog, then the blogs you follow... and then I thought, "maybe I could do this?" Such an astonishing thought had never enter my head before, but I got so much joy out of reading your blog that I thought maybe I could do the same.

So long story long, congratulations on three hundred followers, m'dear. I can think of no one more deserving!

Kendra,
Thanks so much for explaining! Makes sense now... I never used Google Reader so I wasn't affected.

Twinnie,
Then by all means stay up as long as you wish. Sleep is for the weak. :P And I never would have gotten here if it hadn't been for you and your first follow. "Eh, why not," indeed... can you imagine how horrid it would have been if you hadn't? Shudder. WHAT IF WE HAD NEVER EMAILED EACH OTHER.
I'll stop scaring you now. :D

Vellvin,
Heehee, I didn't mean that only Australians had to be productive-- I just meant that if it's daytime where you are, you should do something productive. Advice I'm failing to heed myself, as I'm replying to comments when I'm supposed to be cleaning.

Alex,
Indeed. Especially late at night. It's not *quite* so funny now. But still funny.

Sarah,
Blog reading is always productive. Especially this blog... (I'm kidding. I'm not that much of an egomaniac.)

Kiri,
EEEEEP YOU USED ABSOBLOOMINGLUTELY! You must be a fellow My Fair Lady fan!!! Are you? Are you? Tell, tell!

Ally,
I consider it an honor and a privilege, this duty I perform, with due sense of decorum and with pride, with deference and great respect... no, wait, sorry, that's The Lion King. All I meant to say was that I love helping you brainstorm William and George. Complete randomness is super fun.

Puds,
Awwwww. Thank you. How sweet. (to the guards) Take the prisoner back to Paris and have her executed immediately.

Maddie Rose,
Thanks so much for your comment! I checked out your blog and loved your Scarlet Pimpernel review... it's a fabulous movie, isn't it? And I'm so glad you were inspired to start blogging! I really think my life would be quite different without my blog and the lovely friends I've met through it. Best wishes on yours!

Congratulations on 300 followers, dear! I am so glad for you, and so glad that you ever decided to begin writing this blog, for ever since I discovered you several months ago I have absolutely loved reading your posts! : )
The cat picture...hilarious. I don't know why I always laugh at such ridiculous things. : P
And one more thing, I wondered if it might not be untoward of me to perhaps request an invitation to your sister Molly's private blog, Each and Every Hour? Thank you! : )
